Course - Team Building, Rising to the Top

This course will instruct individuals how to build a team strong enough to climb Mt. Everest.

Participants will be divided into four teams to get acquainted, bond socially, and develop a sense of mutual respect and interdependence in preparation for the adventure.

 

Course Description

  • Hiring the right voyagers from the onset
  • Focus on eight key elements of team building while at a high aptitude
  • Communicate the value of a safe, clear, and cohesive environment for the group's work
  • Clarify the "what"  and "why" of the mountain
  • Scan the environment for volatile situations for quick decision-making

 

Workshop Outcome

  • Create new, unpredictable situations that lend themselves to chaotic outcomes causing participants to exhibit new leadership abilities
  • Create rapidly changing conditions that require strategic thinking and creative problem solving in order to maintain equilibrium and balance
  • Learn to conduct group interviews without undue intimidation of the participants
